Once again, linking up with Emily Freeman, author and blogger extraordinaire, and her “What I Learned” link up at the end of every month. In the link up, Emily reflects on the truly profound – and just plain fun – things that she has learned in the last thirty-or-so odd days.
So, here is what I learned in March:
1.) I dislike thinking about food. All the time. I am always hungry and always need to eat something, but I am tired of thinking about it. Even though I love cooking, if I had the money, I would hire a personal chef to plan, shop, and cook all my meals. He or she would also pack my lunches and outline my snacks so I don’t end up eating gas station cookies at 4:52 PM on my way home from work because I am starving and cannot for the life of me think of what to fix for dinner.
A rare moment of inspired dinner: Poulet à la Marengo and Madeleines.
2.) Also food related, I discovered this pulled pork taco recipe and will never ever feel the same way about cinnamon.
3.) Internet friends are awesome. See here.
4.) Spring loves to taunt us. I posted this photo and then it promptly snowed.
5.) My dream is worth it: the time, the energy, and the sacrifice. But I will get distracted, and that is okay.
So, what did you learn in March? Were they mostly food-related like mine?
