Personal. Simple. Lovely.
If these are the words you are using to describe your wedding day, I want to be a part of it.
Your wedding photography will be the way you remember your wedding day for years to come. Long after the bouquets have wilted and the gifts are unwrapped, the photos will still be there to remind you of the day you said “I do” to the person you love. Whether your event is a casual backyard ceremony with family and friends or an elegant soirée on par with William & Kate’s, your wedding photography should reflect you: your personality, your preferences, and your style. My first priority at Inkwells & Images is to get to know you, the Bride & Groom, and then to work with you to create an individual approach to your special day.
My wedding photography style is casual: I want you to look like YOU on your special day, not stiff and uncomfortable. I believe that moments are meant to be lived, not executed according to an age-old wedding photography playbook. Because of this, I only take on weddings that feel the same way: two people who fell in love and want to celebrate with their friends and family in a way that represents their personalities. If your wedding is taking place in a small country church, your grandparent’s backyard, or in a field of wildflowers, that sounds like a project for me. If you’ve invited more people to your ceremony than lived in my hometown and have a down-to-the-minute schedule that includes a ceremonial dove releasing and gold-encased bottles of wine as favors… I’m probably not the photographer for you.
So let’s chat! We’ll know when we meet if we are a fit, and if we aren’t, I’m happy to point you in another direction, no hard feelings.
Because weddings are so different from one to the next, pricing is different from one to the next, too. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with your event details for a more specific, no commitment-necessary quote.
The Inkwells Wedding Experience
- Initial Meet & Greet with Bride & Groom: sets expectations on both sides of the table. We will discuss your event style and decide if we are a good fit. If we both think so, I’ll provide you with a quote and you can sign a contract for the big day. A 50% deposit will be required in order for me to hold that date for you.
- 8 Hours of Shooting: from getting dressed to the moment the Bride & Groom sneak out of the reception, I’ll capture the moments that make your day special. Additional hours at additional cost.
- Fully edited images on a flash drive: with the rights to print anywhere, anytime you want. The number of images varies depending on the event, but expect between 250-300 total. You will receive a handful of “sneak preview” images within a few days of your wedding, and all images will be delivered in less than 30 days. Also, YOU get to see the images first, not friends and family via social media while you are on your honeymoon! Promise.
Price starting at $2,000. The total price will depend on total shooting time, distance & travel costs.
No surprises, either: The price we decide on in the quote is the price you pay. There’s no catch: most photographers force you to pay a session fee and THEN order packages or prints that wind up costing hundreds – or thousands! – of dollars more. At Inkwells & Images, the shooting fee is it. You get the images on a flash drive with a copyright release, and you print where you want, when you want, and as often as you want. Easy, affordable, and personal. That is the Inkwells Wedding Experience.
If your wedding is going to be a more simple affair than even I am imagining, contact me directly for adjusted pricing. We can create a plan that works for you – and your budget.
