Our lovely cool weather in early September gave way to 80+ degrees just in time for the Marek’s “fall” family photos. Thankfully, Stefan & Lucy and their crew were able to ditch the cardigans and swap out pants for shorts and make it to Lake Leota Park in Evansville, WI for their shoot anyway.
The kids all let their personalities shine, everyone grabbed a popcorn snack about halfway through our session, and we conquered the mosquitos with ample amounts of bug spray. Did we smell nice? Not really, but that didn’t stop us all from smiling the whole hour. We had a blast.
Littlest brother made himself at home in Uncle Chris’s arms while we snagged some photos of mom & dad. I’m forever recommending that parents of small ones bring an extra baby/small child wrangler on future shoots. Chris’s presence made the whole morning so much more relaxed, having someone to help make sure kids didn’t tumble into the creek and to pass out snacks as we went.
We made sure to snag a photo with Chris at the end of the day. He just happened to color coordinate, too!
